The RPGA Tournament will have a new procedure this year. I have shortened the time commitment to one block that is 6 hours long. The previous years had up to three 4-hour blocks which required way too much time from participants.
The adventure will be for a team of 4-6 players using pre-generated characters. There will be approximately 9 characters from which to choose.
You can sign up with less than 4 people (even solo) and I will try to put you in with a group that is smaller than 6 players. If that is not possible then you will not be able to participate in the tournament. If you sign up with 4 or 5 players then you may be given other players to fill out the group if any are waiting.
There will be prizes, of course. I'm not sure what those prizes are yet but they were good the first 2 years.
Post any questions and I'll try to answer them.

So having looked at the schedule I'm seeing four different blocks. It looks like they are scheduled in two blocks of two. This of course leads me to believe that you are having a one session per team and judging performance at the end, or should we be shooting for hopping into both possible sessions?

Each team will just be playing in one block. This new format will allow more time for teams to enjoy the rest of the Con.

Are there any plans to run stand-alone non-tournament 4e games?

We don't currently have any other 4th Edition D&D scheduled, but we're still adding new games every day. If you'd like to run a game or know someone who would, shoot me an email and we can work out details.

I believe each person would need to sign up with their own name. You could also email me (chadd@spocon.org) a list of your team's user names and I'll forward it to the gamemaster, Rich Raynor.

Chad is right, but if any of the schedule administrators or the event "owner" can add anyone to the signups.

Are there any Tournaments that do not conflict with the CoC game?

Thanks Smiling
