New to 40k? Want to play in a tournament, but don't want to get stomped at every chance? Then I got a tourney for you new/young players. Friday of the con I (Chris Grim) will be hosting a neophyte tourney. We are looking at 1000 points, 3 games, 1-1.5 hours each round. Prizes to be announced. Play, learn rules, and have a fair fun battles!

This Tourney is intended only for players who have started 40k in the last 18 months, and have not placed in any tournament in that time. This is also an event for veteran players to oversee games and help bring in a new generation of gamers.

Requirements (tentative):
-Started playing 18 months before the tourney
-Cannot play in this tourney and the 'big' one
-1000 point army, you can borrow, but if I see 'cheese' no way until you change the list.
-Armies don't have to be painted and there will be a separate happening for that.
-If possible, send army list prior to event (makes things go faster)

There will be prizes for Best overall, Best General, Best Sports, a seperate competition for painting with its own prize. Everyone else will still walk away with something.

@steve
Thanks, I really need some people to help oversee games and keep peace with the younger players. I am hoping for a veteran a table, but I don't quite know how many will show up (players and vets) so we might have to change stuff up when we see fit.

@Dave
I know you are probably are busy with con stuff that weekend, but I can let you play. Jk I mean watch.
