I am getting response via email for the Warhammer Fantasy Tournament and the 40K tournament, so I wanted to post a Sticky for players to sign-up for them.

Please post your name, WFB or 40K, and your army. This is a Saturday event from 10AM until 6PM and Sunday from 10AM to 1PM. (Appearance Judging starts at 8AM both days)

Also post if you have general questions or email BigChris@SpoCon.org

Please make sure you have pre-paid and pre-registered for SpoCon 2010 to be eligible for the Tournament!

Please bring a legible copy of your list for me and one for you opponent (ok a third if we all want to look at the same time). Army Builder is fine, Excel is fine, pen and ink is fine but legible and correct.

Appearance Judging starts at 8am on Saturday in Jepson.

Hey!

Well, I'm actually at a bit of an Impass.... Without knowing the points level, well, the orks have gone through a move and come out the worse for wear. The Sallies are an Army I did to prove a point (did I win? I'm Unsure) and my nids are nearing completion. I could take either the Salamanders or the Nids and either would be a blast to play.... hmmmm decisions...

Josh, for sure is coming, I have another interested but that is it thus far.

Have not yet spoken to Dave about the dorms.... Will have to send out an email.

So, Chris, you decide for me. Do I bring the Salamanders or the New Horde Nidz?

Salamanders currently sit at 1850 fully painted, the rest by the time MisCon rolls around.

Tyranids currently sit at:

4 Monsterous Creatures Fully Painted
9 Zoanthropes Fully Painted
120 Gaunts Fully Painted
3 Monsterous Creatures Needing Paint
2 "Warrior Sized" models needing paint

and they Should be painted by mid June at the latest Laughing out loud

so either is really fine to bring. No idea what the percentage of marine/non-marine players are.

Question on Fantasy,

As the the new Fantasy rules will be out July 10th, are you planning on using 8th Edition or sticking with 7th?

Excellent Question ...

The tournament will stay with the industry standard and use 7th edition rules.

I may hate that decision as 8th edition looks like it will be such an improvement.
and I may have to eat some crow.

Is there another forum for tournament Q&A's concerning our lists? Some rules are ambiguous. I'd like to know what's allowed before I write my list. I'm sure a lot of people have FAQ questions.

How many Land Speeders can be upgraded to Typhoons in a Space Wolf Land Speeder Squadron? It looks like all of them can be. But I just want to make sure. The majority of people play it that way, but the wording is a little ambiguous.

Here's the latest poll and info on Warseer. It seems that 71% say you can have all three as Land Speeder Typhoons:
