Spocon.org upgrades complete! (more or less)

The Web Team has finished most of the work of upgrading the site for 2010. We're happy with the way things turned out and hope you are as well! We'll be tweaking the site a little more over the coming weeks just to keep everything running smoothly, but the major changes are complete.

The most obvious change is the updated 2010 theme. Gone is the dark website of years past. The new theme is intended to increase readability and accessibility of the site, as well as presenting content in a very clear and straightforward manner.

As far as backend changes, we've upgraded the content management system to enhance security (fewer spambots!), increase site speed, and decrease site errors. The upgraded CMS also provides the site users easier-to-use and more powerful tools when using the SpoCon website.

Finally, we have migrated the site from spocon2009.com to spocon.org. Spocon2009.com will simply forward users to spocon.org for those who haven't updated their bookmarks.
