Operations

We at SpoCon need...

First off, a person who can run our Operations Department! Operations provides help and support to all the departments and the con and organizes the set-up of all con related equipment/furniture and what-not! It is a critically important position and we need someone who is organized, easy to get along with, and is willing to help our Fans make Contact!

Furthermore, to help out Operations, we need Henchmen! Henchmen are volunteers, and we need...

...People who can drive a truck, lift over 50lbs, maybe have some construction background, can take directions moderately well without turning into a troll, love stuffing goody bags and organizing paper, have a multitude of time on their hands the Thursday, Friday and perhaps Sunday afternoon of SpoCon weekend. You know ... just your basic, average lackey, er um, Henchman. :)

We all know it's the Henchman that really run the show, doing all the backbreaking, important stuff that makes a successful Con-going experience. Who wouldn't want to be a Henchman, really? All the glamor, attention, people calling your name right and left... (Being able to throw boxes over your shoulder at random is always good fun, too!)

Interested? Know folks who can be stolen and conscripted into service? Have contacts who can get us stuff free (and legally)? Or for a drastically reduced price (still legally)?
